R.I.P. - Here lies Indiana Jones killed by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.

What an utter waste of $5.50 and such a let down.

Read my review - be cautioned - some spoilers

Just doing my job Jeanette.

I did say there were spoilers in the review though - besides - I never tell anyone NOT to go, I just tell them they MAY hate it : )

As a long time Indie fan I was not thrilled by the movie either. I still would have gone. Harrison rocks no matter what he does and there were some good scenes but overall I think it fizzled. I thought there was too much Lucas and not enough Spielberg.

Did you think they left it open at the end for his son to pick up the franchise?

Moe, Lord, I hope not! I think this franchise has run it's course and it's time to put it to bed. After Young Indiana Jones four movies, and a slew of books (go to your local bookstore and pick up some of those novels if you still crave more Indy!) I think I have seen enough. BTW playing the Indy Lego game was sooooo much fun!

Note to Jill - I saw it during the first matinee showing so it was only 5.50 instead of 8.75, but I remember when matinees where only 3.75 just outside Philly. Now it is 10 bucks. I live in NC where the cost of living is just a little less!
