my husband's reply to the recipe:

LOL Lisa. It truly is my outward expression of my love for others. I share my love with people through my cooking. I bake for people, cook for people, just food for people lol

My friends call this recipe my bowl of love so it is ironic that your husband said that.

Now i need to get my matzo ball recipe and my chicken soup recipe with this stock.

Also, sometimes I add scraps of "root like" vegetables to my stock as I use it for other recipes like my chicken soup and matzo ball soup. I have been known to use parsnip tips, asparagus stem pieces, turnip tops, etc etc etc. I have also used dill, taragon, basil, and cumin to give it a twist ;0)
