ancientflaxman, I do not know if he ever found what he might have been missing in life. I never heard from him after the divorce. He was quite a bit older than me and seemed to be trying to recapture the adventures and excitement of his youth. He divorced his first wife because she was a "fuddy duddy" he said and did not know how to have fun. He was insanely jealous of every interest, hobby, belief I had if he was not the center of it, with all eyes on him. Very sad, really - I hope he found something to give him peace.
