Yeah you spelled it right. If you all can...try to get as little as 8g of Inulin fiber per day. Helps promote the growth of good bacteria. Just learned it myself.

I never really have a problem with this either. I eat lots of fruits and veggies which contain fiber and any bread or cereal I eat is whole grain for more fiber.

My mom used to work as a surgical tech and she was told by a surgeon that if people ate enough fiber colon cancer would be eliminated.

Besides being regular is important for keeping the toxins cleaned out of your body.

That's a good tip Green1, I better continue eating my fiber. The LiveActive cereal is a good source of fiber for me since I always eat breakfast. I get up early so I need something quick to eat. I think if people ate better foods, alot of diseases ect. would be eliminated.

I've found steel cut oats at my local grocery stoe, both Publix and Kroger carry them.

Sometimes they are in the breakfast aisle, sometimes with the "health foods".

Even if you eat old fashioned oatmeal, it contains lots of fiber and nutrients. Micro-waved oatmeal doesn't have much of either of these.

The steel cut oats that I buy are made by Quaker. I find them in the grocery store with all of the other oatmeal products. The only downside is that they are not a quick meal. They take awhile to cook on the stove.
