Awhile ago there was an article written on MSN Movies that included the top ten films, as a matter of opinion of the author, he didn't consider to be classic anymore.

I think they all are classic films. I can see where Love Story may not be a classic in the classic sense of the word. Easy Rider is just a classic motorcycle movie. It is not a true classic like "Twelve Angry Men" or "Inherit the Wind."

However, I don't know why the author is under the opinion that the other movies are not classics because they certainly are.

If you can see them on TCM, then they are classics. lol.
