balance is a big factor in my non religious life. it is hard to explain to people that I am not religious but that I do have certain things in certain places or ways because of a "religion". Of course elemental balance also plays into my own eclectic obsessive compulsion with balance.
Every place I have ever lived has always had a fish bowl (water), a plant (earth), candles (fire), and a windchime (air).
