So, tonight in yoga class, we had a new (for me) pose: Eagle.

Here's a picture/explanation:

Eagle Pose

Can I just say my arms don't do that!? LOL

But, I think it's good for shoulders, so I'll keep trying.

Neat, I'm able to do this! Bob tried it and can't do it though - his limbs are too thick. I found that very interesting!

Okay, loving this one. Just tried to do it on the twist board. I can do it for a few moments on there. Must practice! smile

I can see where Bob's thicker limbs would get in the way. LOL!

What is a twist board?

Whatever it is, it sounds like something I need.

Heehee, Lisa, how many people have we converted to the Way of the Twist Board?

They should give me a kickback... smile

Lisbeth, we LOVE this thing and it's only ten dollars at amazon. Here is where we started talking about it:

Hey, it's now only 8 bucks at Amazon!!!! This is the time to buy it. smile

In fact, maybe THAT is what I will get my dad for father's day. It's so much more simple to try to get him onto that than yoga i think. And it will accomplish about the same thing - balance improvement and core integrity.

He can keep it by the couch like we do and twist while watching TV.
