Wow I'm glad you added a post to this! As silly as it may sound, I had completely forgotten that tomorrow was May 1, i.e. Beltane. I have just been so swamped recently and was focusing on doing all my end-of-month work!
Does a candle count for a Beltane fire?

Yes Trish we got married this past May Day...funny thing...the numbers for our wedding date...05.01.08 added together equal 14 which equals 5...which is symbolic for the spiritual marriage of male and female...now that, I thought, was COOL.
As for an actual fire...I had orange roses...that count?
