Digital deffinatley. With digital there are so many possibilities as to what you can do.We really do live in a very exiting era where tecnology is concerned.

Kodak closed down its plant here in Melbourne last year so it is deffinatley a sign of the times that digital is now the pefered way of people capturing their memories...

I have always had a keen interest in Photography but I am not ver clued up on it.All I know is that with a digital camera taking photoes is a joy.

For those of you who are in the know what do you think makes a good photograper? "What key points would you look for?

You didn't know, Moe?

Everything's also unfortunately going to wireless. My wired router broke and I had to get a new one today. I won't do wireless because I don't want interference and I don't want to provide free internet to a hacker. But it was very difficult to find a wired router. Ah, the times, they are a-changing. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I had my hands on the newest Nikon SLR today. Ooooooh, I'd give my eye teeth for that one! Light, easy to handle and the graphics on the buttons/screen instructions actually make sense! The price was a little scary though. I'm not a professional photographer and can't justify buying a camera worth 1 car pmt. + 1 house pmt.

But I can dream...

When it comes to cost and learning to be a better photogapher I could NEVER afford film SLR. I take on average 300 pictures at one time when I am out and about and focused on a subject or scene. I have over 10, 000 pictures for this year alone, not including the delted ones that were out of focus or beheading people.

This is especially true when it comes to my creative macro shots. If I had to print off each photo to see the out come time, energy and money would do me in very quickly.

Have a blessed day-

I have loved photography since I was a child. Now that I'm nearing 50, digital is the way to go for me. With no access to a darkroom or the skills needed to develop film, I can use my Canon Powershot A95 to make some wonderful shots. I want to have a SLR digital someday, but for now I'm happy and get a lot of good feed back from my photos.

Biggest difference in Film vs Digital is Lattitude of Exposure. Film has more. But film is going away and becoming more and more spendy.

Some useful tools to learn is "Digital Blending".
