GORGEOUS!!!!

What lush, glorious women you are! I was so inspired, I started doing tree poses around the house. My roommate Chris then decided that /he/ wanted to learn it, and so we spent the morning doing tree poses in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

It is very hard to treepose when flipping an omelet, just so you know.

laugh

Cool, see it is catching! More people should tree pose! You should post some tree pose photos around the house!

Here is me doing a tree pose by the cherry blossoms at the Nantucket Inn. They have a gorgeous courtyard full of cherry trees - we're on the second floor so this is from the second floor balcony.

Here was earlier today, during a break in the wine festival. This is the Brant Point Lighthouse, at the entrance to the main harbor of Nantucket.

Ooooh - I love the one by the sea, where the little miscellaneous things have been cast to the side of the pier in sacrifice to the noble tree pose.

Also Rosie- it really is MUCH easier than it looks. I am a looong while from that twisty eagle pose, but tree pose was not at all as challenging as I thought it would be.

Lis, good eye on the little do-dads to the side!

Rosie, this is one of those "start small" poses. Don't get that leg so high. i have read that just standing on one leg, with your foot resting on top of the other foot, is a good place to start.

I just downloaded my DC pics last night. And I have a tree pose to add! let me get my facebook thing working so i have a place to host it. BRB.
