I love Tolle's approach to time in A New Earth. While he didn't coin it by any means he points out a crucial aspect of culture and time. In our culture we tend to see time as past, present, future with almost no emphasis on the present. The present, however is all we have. We have now and nothing else, yet we spend so much of the present focused on the past and future and get all stressed about it. He points to "clock time" as something entirely different because it informs us in a universal way when to make appointments, etc.
