Mine would have to be when I got separated from a boat off the shores of Aruba. I found myself the lone swimmer snorkeling in a coral reef with the most beautiful and colorful tropical fish I had ever seen in my life. I felt like I was inside a giant aquarium and I was a fish myself. It was an incredibly serene feeling.

Aruba definitely has the best snorkeling in all the places I have been in the Carribean.
(I haven't been to the Great Coral Reef though - which is supposed to be the best - but Aruba definitely ranks up there.)

Luray Caverns in Virginia has the most beautiful underground caves. It's as if you are in a different world.

Billie Cat - The Great Coral Reef would be heavenly, wouldn't it? Sure would like to go someday.

chloe21 - I haven't been to Luray Caverns, but have been to some caverns in Kentucky when I was a kid. I remember being in awe of the vast open space that was beneath the earth. To be honest though, I was very nervous being down there.
