Jill - there was nobody else in the vet's waiting room while I was doing "full tree pose". At the stores later, I was doing a more subtle "stand on one foot" so there were people around but they probably had no idea I was doing anything unusual
We're closing in on May 1st!! How is everybody doing in their weight loss? I've still been stabilized around 137 or so - so I haven't lost any weight, but I've gained muscle and a ton of endurance and strength So I consider that a reasonable trade-off!
I weighed myself today and I have lost 2 more pounds! So it's 10 so far. Wow it has taken a long time to lose ten pounds but I think of 2-5# bags of sugar and that makes me feel good. We are going to Las Vegas a week from Friday, maybe all that walking will help, or pushing the play button on the slots???
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a big stick!
I've lost 7 pounds so far. I am telling myself I've gained muscle, though! Maybe a little. I watched the Biggest Loser on TV and realized I'm way too gentle on myself! LOL--I need a Jillian yelling at me, too.
I think now I've got the cardio down (walking) and the flexibility is getting better (yoga), I really need to be more disciplined about strength training.
So, that's my new goal. I'll start with the minimum (I always do!) of two sessions a week. Tuesday & Thursday. I'm telling you all so I'll actually feel like I have to! LOL
