What's your favorite yoga pose?

I know it's hard to pick. I wish I could say "Tree"--maybe when I get better at it.

I think Warrior (I or II) is my favorite right now. (Well, truly since the beginning.)

OO, this is a fun question! So far, as a novice/beginner, I like:

Child's Pose (ahhh. can do this all day)
Tree Pose (b/c it's fun)
Downward Dog (feels excellent in my back and hips)

And I really like the various back extensions with the legs and chest and arms off the floor. (i guess that leaves the belly on the floor)

I like the "top" of the sun salutation - where you stretch up with your arms and look up at them. I like that long stretch smile

I also like the stuff using the strap to extend the leg when you are lying on your back.

Oh yes definitely I *love* hamstring stretches. My hamstrings are super tight and it feels so good to get them even slightly stretched out ... so the move where you lie on your back, put one foot straight up into the air, loop a strap around it, then let it go down sideways.

We don't need names! As long as we can do them, we can call them anything we want smile

I really like the twisting poses, especially triangle pose. It feels so good on my hips and midsection. But I love a lot of yoga poses...oh and child's pose definitely!!

I suppose in terms of what pose I do most often I imagine it's tree pose. It's fun to try to balance, and I can do it anywhere!

I also love forward fold, where you start reaching up to the sky and just bend or "swan dive" forward, bending from the waist, and hang there. It feels really good on my lower back. I've also seen it called "head to knees".
