Hi everyone. I love burgers and a good fat juicy burger is all I need when I am hungry but since I have decided to go on grass-fed I find it difficult to find grass-fed burgers. Can anyone suggest me a good place where I can find grass-fed burgers?. I am really concerned about the issue of grass-fed and that is the reason I am looking for them and they should also have a good taste .as food without taste is not worth the hunting for it.

Unfortunatly I have never had grass fed burgers. My husband however loves grass fed ribeyes which I get from a local store called "The Fresh Market." He likes the grass fed simply because the meat is leaner than in the regular fed ribeye.
As far as finding a fat and juicy grass fed burger, I don't know that they will match up to a regular burger's juciness, simply because they are often tooted as being leaner.
I have found some grass fed burgers on amazon.com, however, again I am not sure that they will be as juicy and as tasty as the real thing.

I buy Laura's Lean Beef (www.laurasleanbeef.com) at my local supermarket. Their cattle are raised without any antibiotics or growth hormones and their brochure states that they are fed "a vegetarian diet of natural grasses and grains, they are never fed animal by-products. The feed is tested for pesticides and we have strict standards for humane treatment."
It costs a bit more than the regular lean hamburger meat but goes on sale every now and then, which is when I buy several pounds and make into patties for the freezer.
I like that they are lean, 8% fat, and they taste fine to me.

I've bought grass-fed ground beef at Wild Oats and Whole Foods. It's very lean so you have to be careful not to overcook it. It tastes slightly different, but good and I know it's healthier, with more CLA.

Even though I'm going toward a more vegetarian diet, I'm also interested in finding sources for grass-fed beef. Here are some websites I would try: www.steakburger.com (100% ground steak), www.grasslandbeef.com and www.tallgrassbeef.com

I get my share of the burger from SteakBurger. Not only the burger tastes good but its grass-fed. I think that it just answers your question as it supports both of your concerns. They really make those as if they are second to none and it also has that feeling of security that you are not being duped about grass-fed beef. I am enjoying my part of food with them and hope that you will also have a try at it.
