We're watching golf and there was just a FedEx commercial where a guy is very obviously lying to his boss about "taking the day off to care for a sick daughter". The joke is that he wants to play golf so he's going to lie about a sick child to do it.
The ad bugs me. They're saying it's great to lie so you can play golf? I know I'm being too serious about it
But still, that seems a negative impression for a company to want to give ...
"Go with FedEx - we endorse lying. Oh, where is your package? It'll be there soon! Really!"
