Beverly recently did an article about a large plastic "needle" for threading cording through a spandex casing also that could be used to tat larger thread/yarn/jute. I live in a small town and have not been able to find it even with online searches. Does anyone have a source of these items? The "outdoor" stores here carry no fabrics just manufactured clothing/tents/etc. The one hobby/fabric store carries nothing similar. (Well a small metal "bodkin" and a flimsy plastic elastic "threader" not something I would describe as a large plastic needle. I could use a manufacturer, item name/number and a purchasing source if at all possible. Thank you and Peace Tatting Lady

Have you tried sites like Joann's or Hobby Lobby? I know they sell those type of needles in their stores.

Hobby Lobby, Hancock Fabrics, JoAnn Fabrics, Michaels--none of them carry the item. I did find it at Seattle Fabrics. It is actually called a Fastrack Drawstring Return. I appreciate the tries everyone made at helping me find the item. Plastic Canvas needles are tiny compared the the Fastrack DR I need. Thank you everyone for the help. Peace, TattingLady

I'm glad you got you large plastic needle. Please send pictures of how you used your new 'tatting needle'.
