I've always been a real water drinker, and I assumed everyone else was until I discovered the case of my friend who never drinks anything, much less water. I've mentioned her in previous postings. She inspired me to do a lot of research on the numerous health benefits of adequate hydration. It shouldn't be a surprise that consuming adequate water is vital to keeping a healthy immune system. We all want to keep our immune systems strong, especially during cold season and as we head into allergy season. So start drinking lots of water.

I am a total believer in drinking lots of water to keep your immune system strong. It makes sense to wash germs, virus and toxins from your body or at least dilute them!

You're absolutely correct! We need to keep the system running clean, so to speak.

It would be great if we could get everyone out there to follow a drinking regimen similar to your's.

Yes water is key for SO many reasons - to keep your blood flowing smoothly, to cycle out toxins, to get the vitamins around to all the cells and much more!

8-10 glasses a day! smile

I have a hard time remembering to get that much water. I start filling a 24oz bottle every morning and putting it on my desk so I can at least get that much by day's end.

I also like coffee in the morning and tea during the day so sometimes it seems like my eyeballs are floating!

You are on to a good strategy by putting a bottle of water on your desk. You might want to have an additional water bottle staring you in the face to encourage you to drink even more. You'll find you have more energy to get you through your day if you drink more water. By the way, I enjoy tea too especially during the colder months of the year.
