I serve as the education counselor in Relief Society, the Family History Director, and as a teacher(as needed). My husband is the executive secretary and also serves as a teacher (as needed). We are in a small Ward and it seems everyone have more than one calling. Wouldn't want it any other way. Love my callings.

My husband and I share 2 joint callings. I am in a student ward and they like to call companionships...even if they aren't married. Its sort of strange, I admit. But, we have a baby now and are moving over to the family ward in a few weeks. I am sort of excited because I like getting new callings...and I hope its not ward historian (again). That was a good calling, but it is hard to know what is important, and what is not.

Currently my husband and I are serving in our Stake Young Single Adult's Branch. I think it is probably the best calling in the Church!

Nice to see some LDS folks hanging around here. I joined quite a few months back, and I couldn't find a soul. :-)

Just a note to say sometimes LDS get such a bad rap in the community even from so called pentecostals, but I have watched you for quite ahwile now and I have never met more sincere, nicer people than you are, to the point I am have missionaries from you church bringing me out the book of Mormon. My Son will have a FIT he is pentecostal and very against LDS. Why I don't know. Linda

Wow, I loved reading all your posts. I feel I am called to teaching but can't do it yet because I am very new to the LDS. Like 3 weeks.I am doing my lessons and meeting with the Elders weekly. I really enjoy it. I haven't gone to church yet because I have been ill but hopefully will go next week. Any pointers or anything anyone has to tell me to help me along my path would be greately appreciated. I think you are all a truely good and caring group of people. I have been watching the LDS people for ahwile now and your honesty & caring is what brought me in your direction. I am very impressed with you. Please write me as I said I would greatly appreciate any pointers. Thank you, Linda
