My articles on forensic accounting are the most popular. Next week I will expand upon this topic with my review of a book covering the topic of cd and dvd forensics.

I'm graduating with my masters in accounting in December and am looking to go into forensic accounting. I do some right now at the company I'm with. The problem here seems to be the local recruiters only recruit for audit and tax because that's all that's available in their local offices, so finding forensic opportunities is difficult.

Read through my series of articles on forensic accounting. If you get a 2 -3 years experience working with the government you will be able to make contacts and be more savvy on local opportunities in this field.

Mary,

Have you "busted" some unsuspecting clods? Does it get your adrenaline going? What's your favorite part?

I worked in accounting positions for over 30 years and have never heard of a 'forensic accountant'. This is very interesting. The article you wrote on it, Mary, is very interesting. Thank you.
