Do you think bell bottoms will ever "be the rage" again? I know they were so much fun to wear when I was a teenager.

I loved wearing them back in the 70's. The most stylish jeans now have flared bottoms agian - not as big as the bell bottoms became back then but still flared.

Gosh - I remember my parents having a real honest to goodness discussion about whether or not I should even be allowed to wear bell bottoms. Oh they were so radical back then...
My parents have both passed away, but I wonder if they ever look down on us and see what kids are wearing today. Bet those bell bottoms don't look so bad now...
I'd love to see them come back and with big bells!!!

I thought they had already made a comback? I do know that straight - leg - tight around the ankle pants aren't as hip as they were in the 80s. I think it's much more relaxed - maybe not crazy rebel bell-bottoms - but tasteful bell bottoms HA HA HA!!!

I had a pair that were white with kind of a sailor's design on the front - you know, dark blue buttons in two rows on either side of a panel. They were really cute! Of course, I was a size 8 then. I definitely could not wear something like that now.

Ok, I was looking through Vogue today and I saw what to me looked like bell bottoms. They weren't just wide, they were big, they were also white. the whole layout actually looked retro to me.

I never liked them too wide, it would have made me look shorter, I think. The thing with bell bottoms was we had to wear sandals with them. Nothing else looked right but the sandals. I once has a pair of soft, silky palazzos and they were fun to wear - very feminine looking and feel.

Ohhh I SO hope they become the rage again! The 70's is my favorite decade, culture wise, and I didn't get to experience it the first time around (I was 5 years too late =P) I think the "boot leg" pants are a modern variation of bell bottoms. Some of my boot-leg jeans are pretty bell-y
