Recently I suffered very badly from lost luggage but now I have found this site www.globalbagtag.com .And it has given me a bit of extra peace of mind whenever I travel. Has anyone else also used them?

I'm not sure that that is any better than simply having your information IN your bag. What if you're somewhere that doesn't have good internet connections? I always have my itinerary in the bag itself, so people who find it just open it up and know where I am ...?

Thanks for the information. I have not used this service although other travel supply places sell similar bag tags.
The worldwide log on might be helpful, but that's assuming airlines will then move your bags to you. In Bonaire, my bags didn't arrive until the the 4th day of a 5 day trip. American Airlines knew where the bags were--in Puerto Rico--they just had too many bags for a relatively small plane so they refused to forward my bag for days.
If you use the service, please let me know how you like it.

Have you guys tried Itrak? Its pretty good. Your luggage "sends" you a text of its location, so you always know where it is
