I had my first drink at 8yrs old i drank beer with my mother often!
what was my mother thinking, or not thinking

Well it's one thing to get small doses of wine or beer - kids grew up doing that in medieval and renaissance times with little harm. But this poor tyke was completely drunk and abused too ...

I know i hope they get the punishment they deserve! and don't get their child back.

Unfortunately, I don't know that the question of how a parent can do it, will ever be answered. People have been asking that question for years. I often wonder that exact thing myself! I don't know how a parent can shake their child so viciously that they cause physical damage. The alcohol that they allegedly made her drink is unbelievable. I hope that whoever did this to this child gets caught and punished.

There are people in this world that just do not get it! They don't think of the dangers or they don't care about the child, or anyone but themselves and their own needs at any given time. When I hear of something like that I want to hang the offender upside down by his/her big toes and let children use him/her as a batting bag practice session.
