Any Avatar fans here?? It's one of our favorite shows as a family to watch together.

Does anyone know when the new Fire episodes are due?

Deanna, my family likes Avatar, too. For some reason, though, I stopped watching around the time that the Fire Emperor's daughter showed up and I lost the plot. As I get older and the TV landscape becomes more populated, I seem to lose interest in shows when they go on hiatus.

Our family likes Avatar, too. We're extrmely frustrated by the fact that Nickelodeon stopped at "The Day of Black Sun" two-parter, while other countries have seen at least two or three episodes further than that.

I wish Nickelodeon would make some kind of an announcement as to when more new episodes will be airing.

I can also loose interest when a show goes on hiatus. But we've been renting the Avatar dvds, so it's still fresh :::Grin:::

So other countries are playing a few episodes ahead? Hmmmm.

We don't watch Avatar much at our house, I think it's because whenever we try we just get confused. I guess it really is one of those shows that you need to start at the beginning.

Yes, it is a bit of a serial unlike the type of cartoons we grew up with. That's why it is frustrating that Nickelodeon seems to treat it like other cartoons and just throws it on the schedule. You really have to watch Avatar in order to get the full impact. I may put the DVDs in my NetFlix queue and start over again.

My 10-year-old discovered there's a new Avatar game at Nick.com called, "Boiling Rock Rescue."

I hope the fact that Nick.com has launched a new game means that new episodes are in store for some point in the near future...

I saw a commercial on Nickelodeon today for Avatar, and it said new episodes don't begin airing until July!

This is utterly ridiculous, because the next volume of the Avatar Book 3 DVDs comes out on May 6th, and it includes four episodes that have not aired in the United States yet!

Maybe it's a sales thing, trying to get more people to buy the DVDs because they want to see the new episodes?

The final episodes of Avatar will be airing the week of July 14, culminating with a two-hour finale on Saturday, July 19.

Can't wait!
