This has bothered me for years....
Back when I was around 10, 2 girls were found murdered somewhere around Chicago. I don't recall much about this case but it was the first time I'd realized that there were people out there who would murder kids. The murders were quite sensational at the time but I never heard if anyone was ever arrested and tried for this.
What I recall: Two girls, who may have been twins but were possibly sisters who were very close in age were found murdered along a road. They were in the age range of 14 to 16. They had been walking home from some event. This happened around the Chicago area and, I think it was in fall, 1953 though I could be off a year ether way or mis-recall the season.
Does anyone have any memory of or information on this case?
