In cold weather with the heat on in the house, hair collects static. Sometimes it's so bad that you can't keep it from clinging to your face.
What do you do about it?

How about rubbing a dryer sheet on your hair??

Now that's a good idea. It would be easy to use and not too heavy for fine hair.

This may sound funny but I find I have more static in my hair if I haven't been drinking enough water. On those days I don't use my plastic brush but my all natural brush.

That is logical Moe. The more moisture in your body, the more moisture in your hair although I hadn't thought of it as a way of avoiding static cling.

I haven't had a problem with static cling since I was a child. Although I do get the occasional static charge when I leave the vehicle and get a shock from it. Hate that. Doesn't static cling come from the way you watch clothes? We have soft water and use a dash of fabric softener. I don't know if that's what makes the difference or not. We also live in a high humidity area, even in the winter. Now I'm just rambling...

The humid climate helps you. We have humid summers but the coldest part of the winter is very dry and there is static everywhere!
