What is your favorite plant? You can choose a water or bog plant or just a plant.
If you choose a regular plant, is it one you grow close to your water feature?

My mom found these ginger lilies which are very nice. They aren't in the pond or the bog, but planted back behind it.

I'll see if I can get the botanical name and find a photo. They aren't blooming right now but I'll see if I can find a link on the net. They grow really tall so if your bog is high or if you're looking for a plant that will peek out over the top of something, these are great.

Lavender, English Lavender, is my most favorite plant ever. I dry the stems and flowers just as they bloom, never taking too much from one plant, and tie it in small bundles then hang it in my closets and keep some on my nightstand. The fragrance calms and soothes me and gives me a very restful sleep at night. The fragrance reminds me of my Grandmother.

Great! Thanks! That would be wonderful. I could use some taller plants in my bog. I tried to get some carniverous plants to grow but the ducks won't stay out!

Lavender is such a wonderful plant - bot for fragrance and culinary use, which reminds me I have not made any lavender chicken for some time now.
