I also run blenders if I want a quick and easy breakfast. Or I bring out the chopping board and settle for sliced veggies.

We love threadmining smile All threads are fun threads!

I must be really lazy, but to me that sounds like a lot of work. I just get the low sugar yogurts that have fruit in them, and they are delicious as is. Granted they don't have any Kashi in them smile But they have everything but fiber, which I get elsewhere.

Not to say your way is anything but delicious! It looks like you have an awesome solution that works well for you. I'm just saying that it's too many steps for me smile

Oh I should add that for the first time probably EVER I ran the blender through the dishwasher without unscrewing the base and the blade. I put it in as a unit. I felt very nervous about doing that. I am still not sure it is "really clean" in the seal area. It *looks* clean - but what if food is trapped in there?

I had no idea what threadmining might be either so I looked it up. It's apparently when someone comments on an old thread to bump it up. They may post something like "I agree" and not add anything substantial to the thread.

Anyway back to the thread topic-
I love fresh fruit first thing in the morning. It's so refreshing to have somthing juicy such as a grapefruit or orange.

I do like orange juice if I'm out somewhere like a hotel where I'm going to have scrambled eggs rather than my regular shake. I consider it a nice treat. But in general I have a chocolate EAS shake for breakfast, and it's all I really want. It might sound strange but I'm just not in the mood to "eat" when I wake up. I drink the shake because I know I need nutrition in me.
