What fragrance do you like for the bedroom? I go with the standard of lavender, although I like rose too, as it's a gentle fragrance.

I love natural fragrances such as lavender. It's wonderful in the bedroom, soothing and at the same time very fresh. I also like vanilla as long as it's subtle. There are some vanilla fragrances that are too strong and not good for sleeping. My favorite fragrance for the bedroom though, is fresh air. I always leave the window open a crack.

I definitely like roses for sleeping but it has to be very subtle.
I totally agree with the fresh air. Something I miss since I got married. I use to sleep with the window wide open until November but DH is sensitive to temperature and sound.

I forgot, I also like Jasmin. I have one of those ceramic rings you put on the lightbulb and add a drop of essential oil.

I just keep a small bundle of dried lavender in my room, hanging on the wall by a pretty picture. I give it a little shake once in awhile to release the fragrance. It lasts forever, but I do replace it every year.

When the rain falls in the summer time and it makes contact with the dry ground and this scent rises from the dry mud. I love that scent, it relaxes me. I need osomething like that for my bedroom. Any Ideas

My favorite fragrance for the bedroom though, is fresh air. I always leave the window open a crack. The honeysuckle is in full bloom right now, and that is the most soothing smell I know. Combine that with the sound of the crickets at night - and it's heavenly. I have as yet to find anyone who can duplicate the actual smell of honeysuckle, even though lots of candles andf fragrances claim the title. In the winter, I love Yankee Candle Company's "Christmas Cookie" - it's just that right note of vanilla, very comforting.

I have lilacs in full bloom in my front yard right now. I can't open my windows much because of allergies - I try to minimize the amount of pollen and dust that comes into my house. I figure I already have enough... Just bought some more lavender plants today to add to my lavender border. I do like the smell of lavender - but like to keep scents light.

I do not like fragrances in my bedroom. It can stop me from sleeping if it is too much scent. For more than a year in Ste-Florence I used to burn incense in my bedroom but I did it after doing my bed and the scent would be all or almost completely gone by the time I would be in bed so it did not bothered me. Just like when I was my bedding if it goes in the dryer I do not add anything with it, I will add fabric softener in the washer but most of the times I do not even smell it the first night and if it does smell it does not last the whole week.
