I have been throwing up for the past day or so. What triggers it is walking, taking medication, eating. I was diagnosed in my teens with GERD, in my earlie adult Diabetes (type two, 15 years old I was diagnosed with Depression. When I wake up I feel sick to my stomach then when I take my pills after I feel better then its when i eat or exercise I throw up. I checked my glucose level and it was 149. Which isnt high levels of diabetes. Could it be either Uncontrolled GERD or Stress?

It sounds like you are on a lot of meds. Please ask your doctor or pharmasist if any of your drug combinations are making you sick to your stomach.

Incidentally, some antidepressants can cause GERD, and vomitting can be a symptom of GERD. Also, medications for GERD can make you feel better temporarily, but in the long run worsen the condition.

Either way, do consult your doctor as your vomiting could be a serious symptom. If you are not comfortable with what he tells you, get a second opinion. Don't ever be afraid of hurting your doctors feelings, KLW. Your health is top priority and you are what matters most!

I found out what is wrong with me. Im having nasel drainage in the back of my throat and its like a green color. She said you can get sick from that and caugh up acid from it. It can make you caugh and get nauseated.

It sounds like you have a sinus infection, KLW. Green phlem indicates infection. Were you presribed antibiotics? If so, please make sure you take 3 probiotic pills per day to restore your intestinal bacteria. Intestinal bacteria supports the immune system and antibiotics kill intestinal bacteria. Some people eat yogurt which has acidopholus in it. Acidopholus is a probiotic, but it is only one. There are many that get killed off and all need to be replaced.

If you were not told that you have an infection and given antibiocs for it, I would seriously advise that you get a second opinion.

I have a sinus headache. I got a second opinon yesterday and she put me on Amoxicillin 875mg twice daily.

I'm sorry that you are sick with a sinus infection. But I'm glad that you are getting treated.

Make sure you take your probiotics so that you can stay well once you get well!

I found out what is wrong. They say its acid refelx or GERD thats causing the nausea the whole time. They put me on Protonix which is a PPI. Its suppost to heal your stomach lining.
