I play music for my children, one is autistic and she sleeps so soundly now. It is normally rain or waves that lull the girls (i have two girls and one boy) to sleep.
The music seeps into our room, so I sleep better.
One other thing that helps us sleep more soundly is a Tea Pillow. I also write for a Tea Site (shameless plug for my friends there?
www.teaavenue.com i really love them) and the guys there sent me a Green Tea Pillow. Combined with the music, the scent really does help.
You can make your own scented sachet for sleep by filling a small mesh bag with green (or whatever kind) tea, tying it shut, then slipping it into your pillowcase.
