Holy wells have a mythology associated with them that is cross cultural. They have been places of inspiration, divination, and healing as well as a place for offerings of goods and prayers.

I thought it would be nice to have a place on this forum for members to post a need for prayers for themselves or loved ones. It would be a good place to give thanks for blessings received.

Feel free to post on everything from serious health issues to wanting to pass a test at school. Of course, there is also the option of an general request. You don't have to tell us what's going on if you don't want to.

Let this be our virtual respite from the daily grind.

I am in the middle of a job transition, again. So, some well-wishes on getting a new job would be wonderful!

New House New Job...New Life!!! I will pray for you both! and also give you a tip trish... Make sure your house is not the money pit! My husbands and I baught a house that was in our price range but then it fell apart and we had to let it forclose because we could not afford to fix it and pay the morages at the same time! have it instpected my some one you TRUST and then get a second and third opinion to be on the safe side.

Also, my Grammie could use some extra prayers and energies. She's close to making her transition, but struggling to hold on. May she be filled with peace, and feel the Spirit of God surrounding her.

Thanks so much Trish. My Grama is still having a hard time. I dreamt last night that she was a shell, and her soul moved on. But it kept coming back... it just couldn't quite make up its mind to leave

Deanna, I pray for your Grama that she finds a way to step with confidence and excitement into the next phase of her existence knowing that she is loved and appreciated by all those who are staying here for now. I also send you good energy as I am sure you are pained by her struggle and her transition.

Jeff and I have discovered through the use of a local Medicine Woman that we have an eight year old presence who loves playing with us and our daughter. Instead of being scared anymore, we are welcoming her into our home and setting boundaries as we go.

Please pray for all of us as we learn to appreciate and respect each other's needs, our 'fears' as we go down a path that is completely new to us, and the young girl's fears, as I'm sure she is looking for some comfort and understanding of the situation. This isn't something any of us learned about in school!!!!
