I find one of the best ways to get motivated and generate ideas for an article is by helping someone else. Find someone who is trying to learn your topic and ask them what they need help with.

If you can chat about the topic just in general for twenty minutes or so, you'll find so many ideas being generated - usually topics that you (as someone who has been in that field for a while) have forgotten were once difficult to understand.

These usually make for very quick and easy articles to write, firstly because it is stuff you know backwards, and secondly because you know at least one person who wants to know the information and is likely to read your article.

Yup that's very true! When we did the Vegas gathering we were brainstorming how any topic at BellaOnline could write about the trip. We came up with ideas for every topic we tried!

I'm open to the challenge. Anybody, post on this thread with a topic you have writer's block on. We will get you unstuck!!
