What is the scariest thing you can think of? Being strapped to a table, naked, spiders of all shapes and sizes falling from above and crawling all over you. * Being in a pitch black room and listening to the sound of something gnawing. *

The scariest thing DH can think of is being trapped under anything where you can't get out, like a collapsed building or tunnel.

Falling.
Creatures (snakes, rats, etc.) I can deal with, but that "out of control" falling feeling I can't stand. So I guess I could say I'm afraid of heights as well -- but only ones that you could conceivably fall from (i.e., the edge of a cliff, but not an upper floor of a skyscraper).

Another one that I would like to put in a book.......driving in a car alone...down a long country road - no street lights or anything and looking in the rear view mirror and having someone sit up in the back seat.

oh, I hate that one. They always do that in the movies. I always check the back seat before I get in.

So the question asked was "What is the scariest thing you can think of?"
I only ask my next question because it happens that some people, in particular young people believe in vampires.
Erikae, you said "I'm terrified of vampires. They are so scary and they can fly!!!"
Can we take this as tongue-in-cheek because you realize the same as the rest of us that there are no such "things" as vampires therefore there is no reason to be afraid of them?

As for myself, although this is not a real "thing" either (at least not yet) yet, i am frightened of a succeeding Republican administration.
