Hello everybody - just a reminder that,sometimes, the more things change - the more they stay the same.
A Blast From The Past to remind us that "the poor we have always with us." This Short Story review "The Little Match Girl" by Hans Christian Andersen is a timely winter reminder of the bitter lives of children in the past.
The link at the bottom of the review takes you to some accompanying teaching activities and a brilliant Educational Resource site with a visit we are taking to the Hans Christian Museum in Copenhagen, for those who like to raise awareness of this issue with young people.
