Hi, I just saw your post, sorry its a bit late to answer! I had a tubal ligation in 1997, my tubes were cauterised and then clipped. In 2003, I had them repaired successfully. Despite being 39,l became pregnant almost immediately, this ended in an ectopic pregnancy. As soon as we were cleared to try again, I became pregnant again and gave birth in 2004. I have been pregnant three more times since, but miscarried - more due to my age (44) than any failing of the op though. A lot depends on the skill of the original surgeon doing the ligation - if he did a hack job on you, there can be very little to reattach. Also, you need a very skilled and experienced surgeon doing the repair.
