I have a childfree blog with mydeardiary.com (or org? I keep forgetting!) I think I might right more regularly if I had a public one. I CAN make my blog public with mdd and I CAN (I think?) disable comments (because I don't want to be flamed by trolls!) but I think only mdd members can read it which I think limits it. (However, I DO want to be a BIT anonymous, e.g. I don't want my mother to join the dots and figure out it's me!)
So any ideas as to where, if I choose to, I could put a blog and I could say cut and paste it or copy and post it from mdd?
I want somewhere that I can disable comments so trolls can't attack but I want people to be able to read and enjoy my blog. Yes I know there are some great childfree blogs out there but the difference with mine - something against anyone else's cos a lot of people write better than me! - is that it is basically the opposite of a mommy blog as you call them in that it is about my childfree life. It is kinda positive, you know how I spend my childfree days and why I'm childfree and there's a section on a couple with a baby and how that is changing the friendship and reasons I'm glad I don't have kids etc.
So it's a lifestyle blog, a celebration of my childfree choice and that's about it.
So any ideas? (And out of curiosity, anyone who'd be interested in reading something like that?) Thanks!

I leave the child-rearing to people who feel called to it. I've never felt that call.

I agree - I have a blog on blogspot.com (not CF) and I really like it there. And as far as I know, you can either disable the comments or you can moderate them (which is what I do because of trolls.) That just means that the comment gets sent to your inbox and you can either approve, deny, or delete the comment from there. It's awesome.

Oooh Athena Marina, I would love to read a blog like that! One of my favourite threads here was the one where everyone outlined what they were doing for their weekend. It was so inspiring. Am not really sure about where you could blog and achieve the things you want - am not familiar enough with all the blogging channels. Please let us know when/if it goes public!

Check out the iVillage childfree site. Someone there just started a blog and she has a link to it.
