I like the 25 Days of Christmas also. They show a nice variety of movies.

My favorite movie is Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwyck.

Christmas in Connecticut was a terrific movie! Another good one was the Bishops Wife with Jennifer Jones and Cary Grant.

I haven't heard of The Bishop's Wife. I'll have to look for that one. But it reminds me of another good movie, The Preacher's Wife with Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston.

The Bishops Wife is the original that the Denzel Washington movie was made from. I love the older versions tho myself. Jennifer Jones was so beautiful and elegant in her movies.

I've never seen Christmas in Connecticut i dont think, when did it come out? 25 days of xmas does have a good variety of classic christmas movies and some newer ones also, like Polar Express which is one of my favs too. Heres a link to the schedule, I didnt see Christmas in Conneticut but i didnt look through it that thoroughly . Im just so excited about there being christmas movies on all the time!

25 days of Christmas has become a tradition in my house. My favorite movie to watch around Christmas time (I don't know if anyone really considers it a Christmas movie except me) is Yours, Mine, and Ours - the old one. This year I want to see Fred Claus. Has anyone seen it?

For a comedy, "A Christmas Story" can't be beat! Red Ryder BB gun, "You'll shoot your eye out!" Gotta watch it every year! (I think TBS or TNT usually has a marathon of it on Christmas Eve.

I cannot believe that "It's A Wonderful Life." was not mentioned. I mean what is Christmas without Goerge Bailey and "the beautiful Savings and Loan building"? lol.

Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwyck is also a very good movie.

Of course, I look forward to "A Christmas Story" every year. I try to watch most of the 24 hours it is on as well on Christmas Eve. Drives my wife crazy.

"Fra-Gee-lee. Must be Italian." lol

I have to watch "A Christmas Story" and "It's a Wonderful Life" in order to feel like it's the Holiday season.

Amber, me too! Plus a few of the newer comedies to keep the holidays light and fun. Laughter helps keep things in perspective. wink Red Ryder BB gun and "you'll shoot your eye out" is a good one! So is the Bad Santa! It's not for kids, though. Scrooged is also pretty funny, but very serious. Then there is Christmas with the Kranks, and all the Santa Claus movies.

Vance, It's a Wonderful Life is a yearly movie in our house! And I like The Christmas Shoes, too. What's the name of the movie where the 2 guys, Schwartzenager and maybe Tom Arnold, are fighting over the last MUST HAVE toy of the year? It reminds me of some people the last few days before Christmas. smile

Jingle All The Way is the name of the movie. It is a funny holiday movie too.

Then there is the Santa Claus with Tim Allen and I think a new holiday fave in our house is going to be the Polar Express now too.

Jingle All The Way was such a funny movie. I really liked Sinbad and Phil Hartman in that movie.

I'm a sucker for all the little kid "Claymation" type movies...
"Rudolph", "Frosty", "Here Comes Santa Claus", "Little Drummer Boy" - and also the original "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

My holiday just deosn't seem complete without these classics!
