I keep PG Tips at work and Red Rose at home, along with my Whittard English Breakfast of course! I love World Market's food section.

I'm very lucky in that there's a wonderful store in the Dallas area called "The British Emporium" which is about 10 minutes from my house. They have every English tea imaginable and all kinds of English foods and treats. It's great to go there at Christmas time and see all the puddings, mince pies, Cadbury candy, etc. I always have a selection of teas on hand from there.

My husband and I found PG Tips last year at a market near us. We both love it. He also found Jelly Babies, which he adores. You can't find them everywhere but more markets have "international" sections. I also remember years ago drinking Twinings orange pekoe but am having a hard time finding it now. I loved that stuff.

My husband was weaned on pg tips, we get it brought over to us when anyone comes from the UK. It's very strong, he likes the whole bag to himself and squeezed with plenty of milk.

Ugh.

Earl Grey is my favourite with milk, and Green Tea with honey umm.

I love Lady grey, but my Fav is Rose Pouchong, which is AMAZING! I always used to drink coffee, but I had a serious operation 10 years ago and when I came around I wanted tea!! Been drinking it ever since!
I have my tea with milk and sugar, and Shortbread bikkies!
I hear Tesco are going to the US; so it should be easier to get tea such as PG and Twinings etc pretty soon. smile

I like Lady Grey, but can't stand Earl Grey - is the difference just the citrus? Would I like Earl Grey with lemon?

I never put milk in my tea until I spent time in UK - now I drink it with milk when I'm there, but not at home. Weird, yeah? And my coffee HAS to be loaded with milk/sweetner.

Tbunny,
The difference is possibly the Bergamont. Lady Grey has Seville orange and lemon with bergamont, and Earl Grey has Bergamont orange.
I would think the Earl grey is more noticable in the taste of Bergamont.
I have to say, when I do drink coffee it has to have milk and two sugars! Tell you what tho, coffee (Not tea, its awful!! sick) made with all milk is gooooooooood, as is coffee with evaporated milk yum yum!

You could Email them and ask them if they still make it(Twinings orange pekoe), and where to order it from. I did when Rose pouchong disappeared! and they reintroduced it.Yahwhoo! smile
Web Address is: www.twinings.com

Oh Nicola, I COMPLETELY agree with you about tea with milk it. I think it's miserable.
