The Worst Day Ever
Hope woke early Saturday morning to the sound of the birds chirping and lawn mowers buzzing. It was a glorious morning. Today was going to be filled with non-stop activities. So she jumped out of bed to get a head start on the day.

When she went to the kitchen to start the morning coffee, she noticed the back door was open. Carefully, she lifted the frying pan off the stove. She walk slowly to the open door only to find a tall, dark and mysterious man staring at her.

A chill went down her back when he softly spoke. His voice was deep, yet shaken; His car has ran off the road. This mysterious stranger caused a deep stirring within Hope. It seems possible she knew him from somewhere. The man, standing in the doorway, asked if he could possibly have a drink of water.

Hope did the unthinkable and invited the stranger in. Watching him so carefully, getting paranoid she couldn't shake the resemblance of the stranger, and her mind started swirling out of control of when Ernesto held her hostage in the cave so long ago.

She kept asking herself to stop being so paranoid. After all, Ernesto had disappeared long ago. Or was he really gone? She slowly handed the glass of water to the stranger. He warmly touched her hand as she held it to him. Her mind was racing. Who is this man?
