Dear Friends!

I am so excited to rejoin you as editor of this site! I can't tell you how thrilled I am to once again get the opportunity to work with and get to know you all. I am really feelin' the horror groove comin' on and hope that you'll groove right along with me

I know many of you and dont know many others so ...it's ...icebreaker time!

The A-Z's of Horror Literature

Beginning with A and working our way to Z, we will share the name of a horror book or horror author for the specific letter in question.

"Darkness" - John Saul

You know, I was really tempted to keep going with Stephen King- we could probably go through the entire alphabet on his books alone!

"The Exorcist" - William Peter Blatty

You're right, Michelle. After this, we'll challenge ourselves to an ALL King Alphabet game!

"The Fall of the House of Usher" - Edgar Allen Poe

OK, it may not technically be a book - more like a story, but can we really discuss horror without mentioning Poe?!?

No, Michelle, Poe is a definite absolute.

"Ghost Story" - Peter Straub

Here's a question for you King fans out there...because Straub has co-authored two books with SK (which ultimately deal with the Dark Tower), should we count him as part of King's literary megaverse?

But don't get too sidetracked...it's time for "H."
