Oh I would love to give you a recipe but I am sitting here with no books whatsoever! I keep notebooks with all my recipes in them BUT we are moving and the movers have already brought more than half of our things to the new place. Books included. Ugh. Its hard!
But I can say that one of my favorites is a combination of infused chamomile/calendula oil( I like olive but use sweet almond too)Thickened with beeswax.
This year I made some mullein infused olive oil that I am happy to have worked for. I had to find it wild, transplant it and wait until the following year for it to bloom. Geez...but I got a whole quart of oil so it was worth it. I like to add Vit E as a preservative and usually add some sort of essential oil.
Vague I know, but it depends on what I need it for.
I have a basic ones that I keep all around for boo boos and small stuff like that. I usually use clays for drawing and washes or fomentations for infection and deep itch.
May be I am getting ahead of myself here. I am just so excited to be talking about herbs.
