What do you think about IQ and hard work. Is it true that genius is 99% perspiration. I doubt that statement.

Consider who said that... Thomas Alva Edison (who was born near to where i am in Ohio). Thomas Edison said:

"Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."

Though Thomas Edison certainly was a genius, it has been pointed out that though he is credited with inventing the lightbulb, he was not the first to patent it.BellaOnline ALERT: Raw URLs are not allowed in these forums for security reasons. I think often a little time thinking can provide ideas where you can get a lot more done with the same amount of work or less. Or, to get more profits easily. Always you should be thinking how to do work better, more effectively, more simply, with less time, better profits, better quality.

At present i'm trying not to let my mind wander when i write. I've calculated i can get prob. 4X as much writing done in the same time if i can just break my habit of drifting! Some of it comes from time spent trying to find topics, so i'm working on a better way of doing that, too.

There is also something called the 80/20 rule. 80% of your work gets accomplished in 20% of the time, and 20% of your work takes up 80% of your time. 80% of your product defects may be caused by 20% of the possible problems, and so forth. It's just about figuring out how to prioritize so that your work is most effective.
