"...what path would be the most exciting to take? "

I like your question, Tami. It's very resourceful. I will think on this. As yet i don't have an answer. Of the options i see at present for one of my goals (finding the right person for me), none of the options available are exciting and i think they also don't offer much promise. I think you are right that excitement is likely to lead us to the right course.

Yes, as I take each step forward excitement and enthusiasm just keep building! With this type of motivation, we are drawn forward into our true desires. There doesn't seem to be any "pushing" when it starts to unfold. Work ceases to exist and it all just becomes an incredible journey of self expression.

On a different note: Holly, I was reading in The Secret one time about this woman who was trying to attract her perfect mate. All of a sudden she realized she wasn't making room for him in her life. As a step of faith, she cleaned out her closet and made room for his clothes. She cleaned out her garage and made room for his car too. You get the picture. In only a few months, her perfect mate came her way! I'm not saying you should do this, but I do find it interesting, don't you?

I did not know that was in the secret, but i have done that, and not just with physical space, but mental and emotional space must be made too, to be willing to try new things, etc. and not be rigid. How else can you blend lives together?

One thing i noticed about my last boyfriend was that he did not really make space for me in his life, physically or emotionally. He had the tiniest of places and when i visited i had to keep my clothes on the floor of the living room. Emotionally he was the same... he would not try new foods i cooked, he crowed loudly that he would not change any opinions, he would not accept my friends as his own (instead he would say nasty things about them to me), and seemed unwilling to consider moving here though this is a big house. I tried to make it work, but it couldn't.

That man never wanted this to work on your terms. Must have been highly dictatorial.

Who needs a man like that in your life?

In response to the original question...
I want to wake up in the mornings with a feeling of anticipation and excitement about what I will accomplish that day, instead of feeling dread and distress.
I want to spend my days using my creativity (through everyday problem solving, writing, art, making videos, etc.) and sharing what is inside me with other people.
I want to go to bed at night with satisfaction and contentment, knowing that during that day I was ME. I didn't try to be someone else or meet someone else's criteria of who I am.

These are vague goals I know, but I tend to be a "big picture" type, LOL. Any suggestions?

Hi Serena,

Thanks for joining us smile

I like what you've said. I do have a suggestion:

How can you set an intention for TODAY that incorporates your goals? Then go DO IT!

Sometimes, we only need to deal with one day at a time. With practice, we become proficient at those things that were dreams so that they become our reality.

Let us know how it goes smile
