This last week has been one of intense dreams. This one stayed with me especially. We were told it was ok to move into our new house (no real life move in the works) I was surprised and delighted to find that it was a very impressive house from the outside and location wise. I recall thinking it would be a thrill to have my parents over, they'd be so pleased. Inside it was HUGE with high ceilings and hall sized rooms. The previous owner had not finished moving out and that was of some concern as to whether we should be there or not although our realtor had said it was ok. The furniture in the rooms was the kind you get in manors - dark and heavy and obviously worth thousands. I wondered if we had made a mistake... our nice but regular house kind of furniture would get lost in this place. There were several dining rooms too and I was concerned that we could not afford to furnish this place like it deserved.
In the midst of this, I also discovered that we had decided to take responsibility for and adopt a little Japanese girl- maybe 2 years old or so. (in real life we are just getting the kids all launched- no more babies for us!) The little girl's name was odd- like Aloyisius or Agememnon - something that could be shortened to Ally or Aggie or the like... I wrote it down in the dream and even recalled it when I first woke up, but it has since disappeared. I've been trying to do meditative recall but no success as yet.
Any ideas on what this dream might have to say? Thanks friends!

Any monetary stresses hanging out?

Have you just cleared up a new space in your home? Or you need to clear one out to make it the grand thing it needs to be?

Watch any Greek tragedies lately?

Maybe all those fledgling children are making your ordinary house feel huge, vast and empty with your ordinary house furniture.

Hi Wendy, not bad... got me thinking in another direction. We are taking a "family" vacation in a couple of weeks that has me stressed a little financially. We're going with our two almost adult kids (18and20) and their significant others to CA. They're staying at a beach hostel for young adults while we go north for a couple of days. So maybe concern that we've allocated enough money for this expedition,(this, like the dream house is an expense we can not easily afford) and my concern that something will happen to the kids while in my care especially when I am distant for a few days ( dreaming about adopting the child and losing her repeatedly... bad mother!) it what this is all about.
Why I dreamed of Agememnon or Algernon or some such I still don't know... but maybe I'd better re-read their stories to avert any literary tragedy! Thanks!
