Finally! I caught 3 episodes tonight. I love seeing their creations. The episodes definitely have a different feel. I love the detailing Kat does. I'd love to have something done.

Well I am going to be the negative one about LA Ink, not too negative but honestly I'm not thrilled with it. I really liked Kat Von D on Miami Ink but it seems like her attitude has changed big time. Don't get me wrong I have no problem with an all woman show, it just seems like she has changed and I liked her just like she was, oh well can't please everyone.

I think she's probably had to change because she's the boss now. She has to look at everything from a different perspective. There is more on the line for her.

One must also take into consideration her divorce from Oliver, the blow-up with Ami, the move, the fact she is back in her element, the fact that she has the house and works at the shop in dallas in addition to this, and her new business is a multi-million dollar investment.
Many people under these same conditions may not have held up as much too.

I actually went into the LA ink tattoo shop on La Brea and Fountain in Los Angeles, and none of the crew members from the show were actually working. It was crowded of coourse with many people like myself who had just come to see the shop. It is a very nice shop though, and looks exactly as it appears on the show. I was just a little disappointed not to see the regulars, there was actually a bunch of men giving tatoos.
