Pets can suffer a wide variety of allergies. I recently discovered my cat has food allergies. She was vomiting all the time, acting extremely irritable, and getting sick frequently. Our veterinarian was even suggesting we have her put to sleep. It took my son to realize she was acting like someone with food allergies. I guess he's been around me long enough to recognize the symptoms. We changed her from wet cat food to dry and she has a new lease on life. She's back to being the affectionate, happy kitty we love.

We had a dog that had horrible allergies. He was even allergic to dog hair. We did allergy shots in the summer as he had more problems then.

My 10 year old dog used to get ear infections constantly and we had to wash them out and use powders. They'd get all black inside.

The vet said we'd just need to keep doing that all the time. However, when I changed him to a better brand of dry dog food, the ear infections cleared up and he's never had another one.

My little dog itches a lot and I've been giving her vitamin e which is helping.
