Hi.

Women's health is such a serious issue. There are so many things that women can do to improve their health both mentally and physically. In the past I have suffered from yeast infections. The other day I came across a great article that talks about a diet that imporves the health of the [censored]. This is a fantastic way to prevent infections!

Hope this info is helpful! Enjoy reading!

Things to Eat on the Healthy [censored] Diet

One of the most important food items that you should add to your healthy [censored] diet is yogurt. This low-fat snack is high in the ingredient acidophilus, which is a big key in helping you to prevent and even treat yeast infections. Acidophilus has other health benefits as well, including adding to the wellbeing of your digestive system and boosting your immune system. If you dont like the taste of yogurt, you can get the benefits of acidophilus through a supplement. Keep in mind that too much of a good thing is not always good for you, and this can be the case with acidophilus. Take care not to exceed the recommended dosage if you choose to take supplements.

Other foods that contribute to a healthy [censored] diet include those that are high in beta-carotene. It is thought by some health experts that this nutrient can also do much in the prevention and treatment of yeast infections. Beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A by the body, and is good for a number of other physiological functions as well. You can get your necessary amounts of this nutrient by stocking up on foods like carrots, sweet potatoes and apricots. A good rule to follow is that if it is an orange fruit or vegetable, it may well offer you a healthy dose of beta-carotene. Other good sources are broccoli and spinach, so you can enjoy your green veggies in abundance as well!

Things to Avoid

When it comes to the foods to stay away from in your healthy [censored] diet, you will find that the same foods are on the no list for other healthy diet plans as well. For example, foods that are high in sugar actually have a tendency to increase the risk of yeast infections, since too much sugar creates an environment where yeast can thrive. This means that you should avoid foods like processed and baked goods, soda and fruit juices. Alcohol can also contribute to an increased risk of yeast infections, so the best advice is to avoid it entirely, or only drink in moderation. It is also a good idea to stay away from foods that are refined or high in fat, since these foods are a detriment to the immune system. In order for your immune system to be able to perform at its peak, and fight off yeast infections effectively, you should stock up on the fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Sound familiar? It is easy to follow a healthy [censored] diet when you keep in mind that the foods that are good for this area of the body are healthy for the rest of you as well. Eat right and be healthy.

Lots of health problems are based on yeast overgrowth in the body, like fibromyalgia, for instance. This diet would be good for anyone with that condition.

Having vaginal yeast infections is one symptom of yeast overgrowth in the body. If you suffer from fatigue, lack of mental focus, aches and pains, etc, it would be worth trying this diet.

I found this very informative and helpful for me since it applies to me. However, I'm offended by the word 'censored' replacing [censored]. Am I missing something here or are we still in the stone ages where actually using the correct anatomical definition of my gender is offensive in any way? Should we be calling it our pee-pee or hoo-hoo like a bunch of children? I'd rather you call it one of those than actually use the word 'censored'.
