I find it somewhat amusing that alongside the article on false claims about cures for fibro that there were "ads" for cures for fibro. I think it's time to cancel my BellaOnline affiliation.

Hi,

I am sorry that you plan to or have cancelled your affiliation with Bella. But, I must tell you that as editor of the fibromyalgia site, I have full control over the articles written, but I have no control over the website format. Obviously, because of the google ads above the site, the owner has chosen a format that will allow google ads. It's good for bringing traffic to the site, but not good because you have no control over the ads. I strongly believe in the statements that I made in the article because I know the inside tract of those type companies. But, I am not responsible for what people decide to do. If someone decides to make a purchase or join one of these companies without doing the research first, then that's on them. I was only stating my experience.

The Bella site is kept up and running because of the affiliate programs that are along side the site. And the google ads no doubt brings traffic to the site and allows the site to run with minimal expense. All editors are volunteers and we have the added benefit of promoting our businesses whenever we can in the form of article marketing. My coaching business is not affiliated with fibromyalgia, but my business cause is fibromyalgia, and I have fibromyalgia.

There are plenty of other people that enjoy the articles, and from what I could tell, the previous editors wrote a lot of articles with little or no substance and research. The emails of "thank yous" and "job well done" far outweight any negative personal opinions.

Thank you for being with us while you were here, but the show must go on, and I will continue telling the truth and sharing my experiences with fibromyalgia.
