Fat? Hell naw.

Have I mentioned that eating disorders also put you at a larger risk for incontinence (pooping your pants), common but annoying illnesses, allergies, and parasitic disease?

Be like Beyonce, Deeta von Teese (w/out corset of course), and newly foxy Tyra Banks.

hunnie. I think you suffer from body dysmorphia. It is when you are in fact "skinny" but your eyes see you as something that you aren't...you are displaying early signs of anorexia when you don't eat and you're right, you do make it worse because your body goes into shut down mode when you starve yourself and the minute you take a bite of something your body stores it up. You should talk to someone about it and join a support group and/or see a psychologist, I'm sure they will be able to help...Feel better

Ribs are not sexy, darling. If anything, you should be worried about gaining weight because only girls are skinny- WOMEN have curves, WOMEN are pleasantly plump, and WOMEN have tits and hips and gorgeous, bootlylicious bodies

Hey Miss,
Its alright don't worry about it, the perception issues that you are having are common in many homes. The problem lies in the images that you've been seeing on t.v, print, internet and even the conversations that you've been having. You can attain a healthy body image consciousness. You are beautiful and wonderfully made, even when you think otherwise. There is only one beautiful woman like you in this world, and that is you.You have total dominion over any negative thoughts that you may have in your mind.
Think about all the great things you've done in life, think about all the good things that have happened to you. All these things happened because you are beautiful. I know that ugly doesn't give birth to ugly.
Keep that faith!

It might be a good idea to see a therapist. At this point it is great that you are aware of your feelings and that they may not be healthy. That is the hardest part. A therapist will be able to see if you need medical attention or simply need some peer support. You are not alone. So many of us have had similar feelings. Good luck and stay strong.

I think you should turn around and look at your life and think about whether you want to have this problem in 30 years. How about 20? How about 10? How about 5? How about 1? If you don't do something to help yourself NOW you have no idea what this could develop into. How much time does it take out of your life to think about eating and how you feel about your body? I had an ED as a teen and now I teach nutrition. I would recommend you learn a lot about holistic nutrition, and also start seeing a behavioral therapist. Also - learn some media literacy and history so you can understand why women are portrayed in the media the way they are (basically, to make money off of us). You are so worth having a life where you love your body and are able to interact with people and food and the world without obsessing. I know how it is to not even be able to have fun because these issues get in the way. Take it from me: seek help. Don't be embarassed - you'd be surprised how many women have the same thing.

Well im 24 now & I used to go through exactly what you are going through since I was about i guess 15. Though I no longer throw up & starve myself it doesnt mean I dont think about it 24/7. I know what youre going through! Theres something that is making you feel this way, analyze yourself..... when you want to puke or starve yourself really think about why your thinking this way whats the root of all these issues! Youll get over this, as soon as you realize your a beautifull woman just the way God made you!! You need to see yourself the way everybody else does! If you need to chat in the future hit me up!!
